Fleurie gets its name from a roman legionary and not, as you might think, from a bouquet of flowers.
There are 13’climats’ or named vineyards in the Fleurie appellation area, les Moriers is one of them. Deep red robe, floral and fruit aromas that include iris, rose, red fruit and vine peach. An elegant, refined wine with a fleshy, silky body. The flavours evolve to spice after a few years in the bottle.
